This cubby is designed to be placed in front of bouldering pads. The extra height gained with the bottom row of cubbies allows the bench to be placed almost right against a 12-16” bouldering pad without feeling like the bench is too low. The toe kick is 4” tall rather than 3” for this cubby so you have the option to inset it into a 4” CBF flooring system.
