CWA Work At Height Level 2

Location: The Petzl Technical Institute (2929 S, 2929 Decker Lake Dr, West Valley City, UT 84119)
Materials: Setters will need to bring their personal harness, Impact driver, bits, safety glasses, climbing shoes, and closed-toe shoes for working in.
All WAH equipment will be provided including ropes, harnesses, buckets, Rigs, ascenders, ASAPs, and positioning equipment.
Description:
The WAH Level 2 course assesses the candidates ability to:
- Establish working lines behind the wall
- Enact rescues, both accompanied and unaccompanied
- Identify and manage predictable hazards executing sound judgement
- Supervise work at height activities, providing effective feedback
The Competent Climbing Wall Worker is certified in the training and immediate supervision of Authorized Climbing Wall Workers; implementation and monitoring of the employer’s managed fall protection program; implementation, supervision and monitoring of the employer’s Rescue Plan; and identifying, evaluating and controlling potential fall hazards and must have the authority to stop work-at-height operations immediately to mitigate potential fall hazards.
