CWA Work at Height Level 1
Cost Includes: 1 Meal/Day + Access to Evening Activities and Events

Time: 8am – 5pm Lunch will be included

Location: The Petzl Technical Institute (2929 S, 2929 Decker Lake Dr, West Valley City, UT 84119)
Materials: Setters will need to bring their personal harness, Impact driver, bits, safety glasses, climbing shoes, and closed-toe shoes for working in.
All WAH equipment will be provided including ropes, harnesses, buckets, Rigs, ascenders, ASAPs, and positioning equipment.
Description:
The WAH Level 1 course assesses candidates ability to:
- Conduct work at height tasks
- Assist in rescue activities as directed
- Identify and avoid hazards
- Follow the guidance of more experienced WAH workers
Before Enrolling:
Make sure that you meet all of the prerequisites for this
course:
- Applicants must be 18 years of age or older
- Complete the CWA Foundations course
- Have current first aid certification
- Can climb 5.9 on lead
- Can lift 50 pounds
