Description: The Intro to Rope Setting track focuses
on providing climbers with the necessary skills and knowledge to safely operate
at heights. Participants will earn their CWI certification in risk management
for bouldering, autobelay, and top rope climbing, and will receive an in-depth
introduction to standard practices and methods for efficient and effective rope
setting.
In addition,
this track includes the CWA Work at Heights Competent Certification, which is
the industry standard for climbing wall workers. This voluntary certification provides
climbers with the fundamental knowledge and skills required to operate at heights
and is essential for those looking to pursue a career in the climbing industry.
Participants will also receive an in-depth
introduction to the standard practices and methods of route setting on ropes.
With a focus on efficiency, technique, and setting for proper movement and
flow, participants will gain valuable insights into the art of rope setting,
allowing them to elevate their skills to the next level.
